Spring is in full bloom.
Here in Chikatsuyu, a wide variety of trees come to life, and with the arrival of spring, cherry blossoms and many other colorful flowers bloom one after another, creating a beautiful landscape.
After such a long, cold season, the warmer days naturally lift our spirits.
Spring mornings begin with the song of bush warblers. There are many wild birds here, and as you walk the Kumano Kodo, their calls echo through the forest, surrounding you with a gentle and soothing natural soundtrack.
Now, it has been three months since Guesthouse COZY first opened.
We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming many guests and sharing wonderful moments together.
Each one has become a cherished memory.

To make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, we’ve introduced a few new additions.
One of these is a map of Japan and a world map displayed on the wall.
As guests come from various countries and regions, the maps allow us to share where they’re from, the places they’ve visited, and their travel routes in Japan—naturally leading to more lively conversations.
Another addition is a bench and table in the garden, which I made myself!
With the warmer weather, it’s becoming a lovely time of year to spend time outdoors.
As our guesthouse sits on a hillside, you can take in beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the evening sky, and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing time.
